Our Adult ministries are a vital part of the life at Grace. These minstries are open to all and are a great way to find fellowship, growth, and ways to excercise your heart, mind, body and maybe even your voice.  To find out what's coming up and when it's happening check out our calendar on our "Events" page above.

Our Adult ministries include:

  • Music: Grace offers a wide range of musical ministries, whether you are interested in traditional music or contemporary music. 

Our Amazing Grace Handbells practice Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. 

Our Sanctuary Choir practices Wednesday nights from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.  The Choir leads Grace in singing at the 11:15 Traditional Service on Sunday mornings.  Interested Singers and Bell Ringers are always welcome to join. Contact Anita Schulz: aschulz@stx.rr.com       

Our Praise Band practices Thursday evenings and leads Grace with current praise songs at the 8:50am Contemporary Service.

  • Sit & Be Fit: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. Modeled after the award-winning chair exercise television program to promote healthy aging, functional fitness and rehabilitative exercise. This class offers personal interactions for participants to encourage one another to keep moving!
  • Beth Moore Study: Thursdays, Morning, 9:30am - 11:30am; Evening 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.  Learning from the book of James Contact Pat Pike: Finance@ccgrace.org.
  • Financial Peace University: Did you know that there are over 800 Scriptures regarding personal finance? Financial Peace University, by Dave Ramsey, is a tool that supports churches equipping them with a biblically based accountability class that will train their congregation and community to manage their resources. This class is taught by Dave Ramsey via DVD, followed by a small group discussion.  FPU teaches stewardship, how to manage 100% of what God has given. Dave Ramsey does all the teaching on these 13 entertaining video lessons.United Methodist Women: Meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 9:30 a.m.  This group studies about missions around the world, supports various ministries within the community, and runs our Grace Thrift Shoppe.
  • Walk to Emmaus: The Walk is a seventy-two hour experience of singing, worshiping, praying and participating in small groups where you will experience the love and grace of God through acts of service and prayer offered by a vital and loving support community. The objective of Emmaus is to inspire, challenge and equip local church members for Christian action in their homes, churches and places of work.  For more info visit http://www.coastalbendemmaus.org
